Record beating show!

This year's ConExpo/Conagg exhibition turned out to be a record beating event, pulling in more exhibitors and attendees than ever before. The Las Vegas location proved popular with exhibitors and showgoers alike, helped along by the fine Nevada weather. The Association of Equipment Manufacturers, (AEM) which organised the show was highly pleased with the results of the event, which saw attendee figures surpass previous records and hit nearly 145,000, some 20,000 more than had been expected. Meanwhile the AEM also had to find additional space for the exhibitors, opening new areas to cope with demand. Also noticeable was the large number of exhibitors and attendees coming from outside North America, as ConExpo attracted a far higher international profile than ever before.

The AEM is holding further important events. The first CONEXPO Russia will be held from September 15th-18th, 2008 in Moscow at the Crocus Center: www.conexporussia.com/EN
Meanwhile the next World of Asphalt is being held from March 9th-12th, 2009 in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center: www.worldofasphalt.com
And the next ConExpo/Conagg event in Las Vegas is scheduled for 22nd-26th March 2011.
