APOLLO Plus makes its debut

The APOLLO Plus crusher from award-winning Italian crusher company OM (Officine Meccaniche) was introduced to the American market at the show.
The machine is said to be the only mobile jaw crusher managed by hydraulic pressure through a PC, and it incorporates OM's Non-Stop System (NSS), which won the Samoter show's Technical Innovation Award for 2008.
The NSS is an innovative machine management system capable of ensuring high productivity. Sensors on the machine are used for hydraulic drive monitoring, hydraulic pressure monitoring, ultrasonic level control and CSS positioning control.
At Samoter, the NSS was presented on a particular crushing machine model but it can be applied to all OM machines.
The company says that the system is capable of ensuring high productivity in every operating condition regardless of the experience of the operator. Continual unsupervised processing also ensures significant improvements in terms of power efficiency and safety.
The APOLLO Plus weighs in at 46.9tonnes, and according to the crusher setting loading method and feed size, production ranges from 60tonnes/hr up to 360tonnes/hr.
